Acne is one problem that almost everyone is struggling with. It has troubled many around the world affecting all ages indiscriminately. A homemade mask is also a good remedy for also help you remove the oil and dirt. Rub honey mixed with cinnamon and leave it for a couple of hours. The mixture will remove any dirt, impurities, dead cells and will leave your skin feeling soft.

2. Dry Out the Acne:

After washing your face, apply toothpaste on the pimples and leave it overnight. Wash it off in the morning. The toothpaste will dry out the pimples.

You can also use lemon to dry out the pimples. Mix a part of freshly squeezed lemon juice with water. Dab on the pimple using cotton wool and let it settle for a few minutes. Afterwards, rinse it out.

Sometimes lemon irritates sensitive skin. If irritation occurs, do not continue using it as it could cause more harm to the skin.

3. Treat the Acne Infection:

Use the tea tree oil for the treatment of Acne infection. The tree has a natural oil that has disinfectant properties. It is known to treat and prevent acne. It kills the bacteria and unblocks the sebaceous glands, reduces dust, grease, and the occurrence of acne.

Apply the tea tree oil directly to a specific pimple. You do not need to dilute it. Leave it overnight and rinse your face in the morning.

4. Regulate the Face Oil Usage:

Many people think that there is no need to oil the face when one has acne. If you have a dry skin it can easily lose the nutrients and be exposed to more damage. This makes it difficult for the skin to replenish itself. You can moisturize with a light natural oil such as coconut oil.

Coconut oil contains fatty acids which are known to kill bacteria, including that caused by acne. It also acts as a natural sunscreen. You can safely consume the oil or apply it directly onto the skin.

5. Mind Your Diet:

Some foods can cause acne infection. Studies have shown that eating processed foods is one way of worsening the acne. Eating healthy diet made of fruits, grains, and vegetables, as well as drinking plenty of water can significantly improve your acne condition.
